At MK Safety Solutions Ltd, our Qualsafe First Response Emergency Care (FREC 3) RPL course is aimed at learners who already hold a recognised first responder qualification, such as First Person on Scene (FPOS) or First Responder course. It is also ideal for those who have completed relevant prior learning, including the classroom element of the Associate Ambulance Practitioner programme or the first year of a paramedic science degree.
This two day, hands on course is designed to be practical and engaging, meeting the competencies set out in the PHEM skills framework at descriptor level D. We focus on building the learners knowledge and practical skills required to manage a broad range of pre-hospital emergency care situations. The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in First Response Emergency Care (FREC3) covers areas such as emergency oxygen administration, trauma care, the management of major illnesses, and more.
