Meet Kenny Walker

Kenneth Walker is an experienced Practice Education Lead and HCPC-registered Paramedic based in Glasgow, with over 16 years in the Scottish Ambulance Service. Throughout his career, he has specialised in pre-hospital emergency care, major incident response, and clinical education. He previously served on the Special Operations Response Team (SORT), providing advanced medical support in high-risk and hazardous environments.

Kenneth holds a BSc in Paramedic Science and a BA in Business and Human Resource Management. This combination of clinical knowledge and leadership skills means he brings both hands-on expertise and a clear understanding of how to train, support, and lead others in high-pressure situations.

Before joining the ambulance service, Kenneth spent a decade in the Royal Air Force Regiment, including over five years with the RAF Leuchars Mountain Rescue Team. He was involved in numerous mountain and aircraft incident responses both in the UK and overseas, developing a calm, capable approach under pressure that continues to shape his work today.

In 2013, he founded MK Safety Solutions to raise the bar in emergency medical and first aid training. The courses delivered are practical, up to date, and based on real operational experience. Learners gain the confidence and competence needed to respond effectively in emergency situations.
